Our Services

Since 2011, Executive Cleaning and Home Organizing (ECHO) has been focusing on the one moment in time you need help with your home or office. If you are selling your home, moving an office or preparing for a life transition we are here to help. Your space will be so clutter free it will ECHO!

ECHO will maximize your home’s potential. We work closely with you to ensure your home is “move-in” ready for any potential buyer or real estate agent. If you are using the services of a professional stager, photographer, or if you need your living space prepared for an open house we know how to de-clutter and clean to increase your bottom line.

“Barbara Ann helped my parents with their downsizing and move.  She worked with my parents to declutter their home and sort things before their move to a smaller apartment.  Working with the floor plan of their new space, she managed to convince them of what to bring and what to toss (no easy task with elderly parents who hang on to everything!)  My father is blind and deaf and she really took the time to work through the project with him.  She helped with the packing and the move management the day of the move.  We are so thrilled because we live just outside of the Ottawa area and could not help our parents as much.   Their home sold for well over asking price and we are convinced it was because it was staged and decluttered!  Thank you ECHO!”

Our Clients

Our clients are real estate professionals and empty nesters that are downsizing, executives that need help with office de-cluttering and organizing. We specialize in helping seniors and adult children of seniors “right size” and de-clutter their homes. We also help clients adjust their home environment to accommodate a new arrival such as a baby or relative.

If you have special mobility needs, or are working with an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, we will liaise with them to ensure any home modification is done properly and effectively. Light carpentry, and assembly of furniture can be provided for our special needs clients.

We focus on your de-cluttering and home organizational needs when special circumstances arise! Last minute surprises are ECHO’s specialty!

Our Owner

Barbara Ann has been a professional organizer for over 15 years. Her career began as a closet designer and carpenter while she worked her way through university. After graduating, Barbara Ann launched Executive Cleaning Home Organizing (ECHO) and has never looked back. Barbara Ann is project manager and team lead and has helped hundreds of families organize, purge and “right size” their space. Currently, Barbara Ann employs a hard-working and creative team composed of gardeners, designers, handypersons, and bookkeepers. Working together the team brings a unique perspective and creative energy to every project. Barbara Ann enjoys spending time on the baseball diamond, and watching football. Barbara Ann volunteers with the emergency shelter in Ottawa, and participates in community events. She delivers workshops in law to Youth at Risk and NGOs whose members benefit from free legal education. She lives in Ottawa with her family.
